When we started this business, Tom was hauling around tools in the back of our old Tacoma and I was working in our basement home office.  It’s crazy how far we’ve come and we are so delighted to debut our new Design Center.  
 
It comes complete with cabinetry, flooring, countertop, paint and hardware samples and its goal is to make client materials selections a breeze!  Before we were sending clients all over town to pick out their selections. Not only that but we were purchasing cabinets from another showroom which meant less quality control and higher prices.  
 
Some of our amazing vendors include: SOLLiD Cabinetry, Amerock Hardware, MSI Surfaces, and The Flooring Group.  
 
Another goal was to create a beautiful and functional space for our employees, clients and vendors to visit. We’ve greatly enjoyed having a place fit to host our team meetings and clients’ design presentations/materials selections meetings.  
 
This space really is a dream come true for us and we can’t wait to share it with clients and friends!

Dave & Brenda are troopers.  They stuck with us through all the COVID craziness and have been wonderful to work with.  They wanted to open up their kitchen from the day they moved in 17 years ago.  They also wanted to add cabinetry in their laundry room.  They finally decided to take the plunge and update so they could enjoy the updates while they still live there!  They also updated the rest of the laundry room, refinished their hardwood floors and updated the fireplace surround.

We asked them what their favorite part of their new space is and they said, "Hmmm...it's hard to decide which is our favorite updated space as we love it all!  The renovations have updated our living spaces and we love the look and functionality."

The most satisfying aspect of our work is seeing people happy in their new spaces!  Thank you, Dave & Brenda for trusting us with your project.  We hope you enjoy it for years to come!!

Bradburn is also the location of our latest kitchen, powder room & mantel remodel for Deana & Stew. I keep saying it over and over again, but we seriously work for the best people (we are picky like that!).  

Deana was constantly sending home cookies and other treats for us and told Tom he could have free reign in her pantry as long as he let her know what she needed to replace. :) She and Stew have been a joy to work with and so supportive of our ever growing family...oh yeah, we also had twins during their project.  A lot has been going on around here!  Amiright? 

This kitchen turned out just brilliantly.  I mean, it practically glimmers with its bright and inviting quartz countertops, white and gray cabinetry, Dacor stainless steel appliances and custom made barn door, cafe door, island, floating shelves, butler's pantry and more.

The redesign also included a new single french door, updated powder room, refinished walnut floors and an updated mantle.  

The end results are something we are really proud of and hope Deana and Stew enjoy it for years and years to come!  We are grateful for the opportunity to put it together for them!

In order to make the best use of the space, the kitchen and dining room were actually flip-flopped.  Two giant windows and a french door were added to let in tons of natural light and show the fun terraced landscaping in the backyard.  Heather & Kevin picked out two-toned cabinetry for that extra pop and painted all the trim black. I love all the finishing touches they picked out: the farm sink, the pendants, the fun backsplash tile...It all turned out so lovely!  And we hope they enjoy it for years and years to come!

Hi friends!

Oh my gosh was this project a wild one.  Ken and Lynn came to us with a problem.  Kind of a big one.  They had water damage in their kitchen that was making the place deteriorate at an alarming pace.  We were happy to help get them fixed right up!

Collaboratively, we planned the project and with great anticipation, demo day rolled around.  It was a hot sweaty summer day and Tom's help fell through.  So he literally tore the entire kitchen out all by himself.  And came home exhausted.  But not before he posted this video.

Once everything was torn apart, there was definitely water damage.  Lots of it.  But that wasn't all.  It seemed like every layer of demolition revealed something new. When the subfloor was torn out Tom realized that the kitchen addition had actually been built on a patio slab with no footers.  Not only that, but the slab was nearly completely eroded underneath.  The load bearing header was also framed completely incorrectly.  These newfound issues meant the kitchen literally could have fallen off the house at any time.  

We like houses that don't fall apart!  So we dialed up our team of experts to fix the foundational problems and the header problem then got to work on fixing everything else up as good as new.  And look how it turned out!  So pretty!  As the homeowner said, "It's not trendy, but it's us and we love it!"  I think it's beautiful and we certainly couldn't have asked for better clients to work with.  

The moral of this story: remodeling project buyer beware!  Please make sure to vet your contractor.  The original addition in this home was done by a contractor who either had no idea what he was doing or didn't care.  

We don't know what happened exactly because the original work was done by the previous homeowner.  But we do know that it's all fixed up and we hope Ken & Lynn love spending time in their new kitchen for years to come!

We so enjoyed working with Missy & Kevin on their kitchen remodel complete with new back splash, counter tops, cabinets and appliances.  That subway tile is to die for and I totally have kitchen island envy!  We hope you enjoy your new kitchen and can't wait to work with you again in the future! :)

Tom recently worked on a project to turn an old Platte Park basement into a fully updated rentable space.  With a location super close to South Pearl in the heart of one of Denver's hottest neighborhoods, our client shouldn't have any problem renting it out. 

Old houses are always full of surprises and this one was no exception.  From finding asbestos in the flooring to a lathe and plaster wall behind the sheet rock, it kept Tom on his toes.  In the end, it turned out super cute and we hope whoever lives there enjoys the kitchenette Tom built!
