Liz and Casey are among the kindest individuals you could ever hope to meet, and they reside in a charming, albeit cozy, residence nestled within an older neighborhood in Boulder. Previously, they embraced a more rural lifestyle, yet they willingly traded their riding mower for a view of the Flatirons! As their children grew, their living areas began to feel a tad cramped, prompting them to seek assistance from Bunn and Sons for a remodeling project. This little house was originally constructed in the 1920s and later received a second-story addition during the 90s. Despite the expansion, the house remained snug and exhibited signs of aging. Liz and Casey desired not only to revitalize its appearance but also to enhance the functionality of their limited space. Our team collaborated closely with them to develop the perfect solution, and they made fantastic choices for the finish selections. Although a few unexpected hurdles arose along the way, they adeptly adapted to the challenges and ultimately achieved a unique space that their family will relish for countless years ahead.
Highlights of this project include: -Kitchen remodel that involved removal of some existing walls and closet space -New maple wood floors throughout the main level -New downstairs bathroom (tiny!) -New master bathroom -Various trim and paint updates throughout other spaces on the main level.
