Tom Bunn
Owner & General Contractor I have been in the construction world since I was a kid. My dad used to load my brother and I in the truck and take us with him while he did all kinds of projects around my Pennsylvania hometown. My 20-year "real world" experience includes a corporate career as a project manager and several construction related jobs before owning Bunn & Sons. In recent years, I've taken a real liking to leading our team as they remodel kitchens and whole homes and build additions! In our spare time, Brook and I love living in Broomfield, escaping to the mountains when we can and soaking up every minute with our very busy, growing-up-too-fast, tiny humans - Peter, Annabelle, Patrick & Zelie. Fun facts: Tom is a Marine Corps veteran and a Geophysicist by education. |
Brook Bunn
Owner & Back Office Guru These days I handle all our back office work from typing up this very description on our website to making sure our books are in line to helping Tom come up with our long term vision. We love what we do and I'm grateful to be a part of it! Before owning Bunn & Sons, I was a "corporate American" mostly in Franchise Consulting. I would never trade those years of learning everything from how to be an effective public speaker to how to grow a franchised business to how to navigate difficult conversations, but I am thrilled to be on the other side now as a business owner myself. Every day is new, every client becomes a part of our story and it's really fun to write that story every day. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, taking walks, cooking yummy food and laughing with family and friends. |

Designer and Project Developer I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, but have lived in Southern California, as well as Northern Virginia. I moved back in 2016 and am so happy to be home, again! I have a degree in Interior Design and a Minor in Construction Management from Colorado State University. My experience runs the gamut of working in the nuclear power decommissioning industry, to interior and architectural design, to project management. I am thrilled to now be with the excellent operation of Bunn and Sons, and I look forward to helping clients realize their dream home. Home is the most important, most personal place in our lives. I’m always honored when I am able to help someone improve that special place and provide them with a space that helps them to live a happier, higher-quality life. I live in Longmont and have a spazzy, but sweet, little rescue doggy named Tipsy. She is my constant companion and is way too spoiled. In my spare time I like to kayak, hike, explore new places, read and make constant renovations to my home. My daughter lives in Virginia, so I spend time with her whenever I can. |

Project Manager I was born in Colorado but grew up in northern New Mexico. After meeting my wife, Irene, while visiting my brother in Denver, I migrated back to Colorado to be with her. We’ve been blessed with a happy baby boy named Joseph, who looks at me as a giant jungle gym. It’s always playing time for Joseph once dad walks in the room. I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in lighting design and production management. I have spent 14 years managing productions in every genre, from symphonic concerts to HBO comedy specials to designing and building stage scenery. These experiences in addition to remodeling various homes I've owned over the years, laid the foundation for the skill set needed to manage projects for Bunn & Sons Home Renovations. I'm looking forward to working with you on your upcoming project! |

Superintendent I’ve always liked working with my hands; when I was younger I would help my dad and uncles if they were working around the house. I’ve always been intrigued by how things go together, so when I started construction it transferred to that. There are few things as rewarding as seeing the result of hard work pay off, and seeing how appreciative the homeowner is with the progress. Remodeling isn't like new construction where you rarely see the end result. I get to see the progress at each stage of the job, and then the reaction of the homeowner as they take the space back. There’s never a dull moment in remodeling, it keeps me on my toes and makes me think on the fly. Working for a smaller company is a nice change of pace compared to what I’m used to coming from a bigger company. It’s more organized and everyone is on the same page; there’s no running around between various people to get an answer. Most importantly, the quality of the end product is excellent and all the customers are ecstatic with what we build them. In my free time I like to go to local coffee shops, explore new places, and hang out with my cats. |

Carpenter I was raised in the Northern California Valley and lived there for most of my life. Growing up I would always help my dad repair and or build things around the family ranch and he taught me a lot about construction. After watching him and absorbing everything I could, I went to work for my grandfather's construction company as soon as I was old enough. I learned so much from my time working with him and with each new job my skills continued to improve. I’m very grateful for everything they have taught me and can’t wait the use my knowledge and experience to complete each new project with pride. I love everything outdoors and can’t wait to explore what this state has to offer. My wife and I recently moved to Colorado after living in Idaho for the past three years. We have three dogs, Kenai a German Shepard, Koda a mini–Australian Shepard, and our newest puppy Willow, a yellow lab. She definitely keeps us on our toes and just loves affection. They are the perfect hiking buddies, and we can’t wait to make the most of this beautiful state we now call home. |

Office Manager Throughout my life, I've been fortunate to call Colorado's Front Range my home, and I've made the deliberate choice to stay here due to the unparalleled access to nature. Whether hiking, camping, backpacking, exploring off-road trails, or paddle boarding mountain lakes; being in nature is where I am my happiest. When not outdoors, I enjoy local breweries and live music events with loved ones. I have an affectionate Pitbull-Labrador that I wish I could take everywhere. When I'm not out exploring, I love spending time at home. I place significant importance on my personal spaces because I firmly believe that our environment can deeply influence our emotional well-being and shape many special moments in our lives. It is a joy to be apart of a team that empowers clients to dream, visualize, and execute their ideal living spaces. |
