Why hire a professional to help you with your Home Improvement projects?
A professional has the skills, tools and background to help you complete your home renovation projects safely and with high quality.
Are you licensed?
Yes! We are a licensed General Contractor in Arvada, Broomfield, Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Westminster & Northglenn and are happy to get a license in your town as well.
Are you certified?
Yes! Tom has successfully taken the National Standard Residential Building Contractor examination.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are! We have a General Liability policy.
Do you use a construction agreement with your projects?
Yes! We believe that helps keep everyone on the same page during the project.
Do you have a designer on staff?
Yes! We have an awesome full time designer dedicated to helping you create the space of your dreams and then walk you through all the materials selections needed to make it happen.
Which areas can you help renovate?
We specialize in whole house, kitchen and bath remodels, basement finishes or just about any other type of project you'd like to complete in your home.
How do I get started?
Simply call Tom at 303-625-4045 or contact us on our Contact page and we will get back to you to schedule a time for our discovery call. After we learn more about your project, we give you ball park estimate on price and can determine collectively if your project and our company are a good fit. For renovation projects, we will then set up a time for Tom to come by for an initial home renovation project meeting.
What takes place at the initial home renovation project meeting?
Tom will come to your space to learn more about what you'd like to accomplish with your project. He will also be able to give you a ballpark range of cost for your project. At that point, we can discuss moving on to the next step in our process which is formal budgeting and planning professional service agreement.
Do you require architectural plans to complete your projects?
We do require plans for renovation projects. Why? Procuring architectural/design plans upfront helps us to prepare an accurate estimate which will avoid future change orders. They keep subcontractors on the same page & ensure you will get the outcome you want and deserve. While plans can be a bit of an investment, they are ultimately a money saving, not to mention frustration preventing, measure in the end that will help you keep your contractor accountable throughout the process. We work with an awesome designer who is involved right from the beginning.
Do you use project management software to help keep track of big projects?
Yes, we use CoConstruct. We love it for keeping track of communications, documents, status updates and the like with our clients who do bigger projects like bathroom or kitchen remodels, etc. It's such an awesome tool!

Why does it cost so much to hire a good contractor?
We have learned a few things since starting this business:
- It's expensive to operate a business the right way. There are taxes - so many taxes, insurance premiums, bank charges, communication platforms, etc. It takes the right tools, vehicle and trailer to get the job done. It takes knowledge and skill. That's what you're paying for when you hire a professional.
- There are a lot contractors that undercharge for their services. Over 80% of construction companies fail by the time they are 5 years old. When contractors under charge, they put themselves out of business and you have no one to turn to if there's a problem down the line (or in the middle of your project!). We plan to stay in business for a long, long time. We also want to be the kind of operation that shows up when we say we are going to and does a great job. Please remember that when hiring a low-bidder. You usually get what you pay for. Usually one of two scenarios ensue with low bidders - 1) they change order you to death or 2) they stop work when they are no longer making money on your project which could mean an unfinished project for you and a lot of frustration.
- We believe in paying our subcontractors a fair price for their labor. Many contractors take advantage of a the help that is out there by paying unfair, low wages. We don't think that's ethical at all! We know our contractors are people who deserve a fair wage to support their families.
- We only work with insured, fully vetted subcontractors. They have to charge more, but we think it's crazy to invite subcontractors into our clients' homes who could possibly do major damage and then not have the insurance policy to fix that damage.
